Classes For All Ages & Skill Levels

Tumbling specifically refers to the practice of skills and techniques performed on the floor or trampoline. It focuses on developing strength, flexibility, and coordination through skills such as flips, handsprings, and cartwheels. Tumbling is a great choice for those who love flips but prefer not to engage in the broader apparatus-based gymnastics training. Additionally, tumbling classes are a great add-on for all of the cheerleaders working on tumbling skills.

Tumbling Class Options

TUMBLING TOTS

Crawlers through age 4. Tumbling Tots classes will guide you and your toddler through the fundamentals of movement, basic skills and safety. You will use the gym’s fun-filled obstacles specifically designed for your toddler. They will crawl, run, climb, swing, slide, and more through our interactive stations.

BEGINNER TUMBLING

Ages 5 & Up. Beginner Tumbling class will teach the foundations of tumbling. Focusing on forward and backward rolls, backbends, handstands, cartwheels, roundoffs, and begin working walkovers.

ALL ABOUT BACKHANDSPRINGS

This class is designed for athletes who have mastered the basics of tumbling and are ready to take their skills to the next level. This is designed to perfect the backhandspring, and increase the power to focus on roundoff backhandsprings, and multiple standing backhandsprings. In this class, emphasis is placed on building strength, flexibility, and control as athletes work on improving their form and technique. This class is perfect for middle and high school cheerleaders, as well as those who are ready to move beyond the basics and take their tumbling to new heights in a fun, supportive environment!

RUNNING TUMBLING

This class is all about making that roundoff powerful. Adding tumbling into and out of the roundoff to strengthen those running tumbling passes, and to learn some new creative running passes.

OPEN

This class is for all ages and skill levels. Recommended for Middle School and High School athletes. In open tumbling we will focus on drills to get the skills, and perfecting the skills athletes already have.
